I love these industrial style curtain poles and was so happy to find them in lots of colours. They are really easy to install due to the design. I bought the green poles, says they are for a kids room but I have them up in my living room and hall on the front and back doors and they look great! A pop of colour and great for keeping the draughts out because the curtains can go in a curve around the pole and against the wall. Says they are room darkening, they are but they’re also great for insulation. I love them

The pole sits so far out in front of the window that the curtains no longer sit flush to the wall, so let light in at the top and bottom.

Easy to install and when paired with blackout curtains, complete winner. As the curtain goes around the pole at the top, it sits flush with the wall stopping any light coming in on the sides.

We’ve had this for almost a year from Dunelm and it was working well until today when we took down the curtains to install new blinds and somehow the part which extends has locked and we don’t know how to fix it. Any advice or help would be deeply appreciated. The screws on both ends also seem to be stuck and cannot be loosened – not sure if that’s why it stopped extending

Not bad for the price point, was slightly buckled at one end but not enough to cause a problem and is hidden by the fittings
