Beautiful, thick velvet curtains. Gorgeous colour. Goes perfectly with the dorma love birds duvet cover we also purchased.
We had a slight issue with the first set of curtains we received, but the Dunelm customer service team dealt with this issue brilliantly.

Very pleased with the velvet curtains, they are lovely quality, very well made, weighted at each corner, with a quality lining that keeps out the sunlight. They have a deep heading and look very luxurious. They hang beautifully. The colour teal is more of a blue teal than a green teal in shade but still match in well with the teal wallpaper. Good price for the quality of the product.

We were so impressed with these lovely curtains – we bought the lighter Seafoam colour for our bedroom. They go brilliantly with our light green and cream striped wallpaper. They arrived promptly, were easy to hang too. It took a while for the packing creases to drop out, so a steamer is recommended if you needed them looking pristine immediately after hanging, which we didn’t.
We needed decent blackout curtains as the neighbours have security lights, and the lights occasionally come on when foxes visit their gardens in the early hours, which wakes us up. We also wanted more substantial curtains to retain the heat in the house on cold evenings, and they certainly do that, it has been a transformation. We have had cotton velvet curtains before, but the colour fades in sunshine, and they can be expensive to dry-clean. These are polyester, and apparently are machine-washable, which is great.
We are thinking about getting another set for the living room. We wish Dunelm / Dorma offered more colours in this range (just two) – as Marks and Spencer seem to have something similar in 6 – 8 colours. But we like the quality of these curtains and would seriously consider getting another set for another room
In essence, they might not suit everyone, but we were very pleased, and we thought they were great value for money at £105 for the large and long size we ordered. Loved the bee-printed lining too!
