How to make Homemade Hummus – Easy and Quick

Since recently I started reading and became more interested in the benefits of the Hummus itself. Did you know that this creamy mixture is rich in protein, vitamins and minerals? It also helps the body fight illness and disease, protects our heart and it is a great boost of energy for the day. Therefore my first instinct was to search for one in the closest store, until I realised that I could make one instantly at home, without added preservatives and much healthier!


In the drop down menu you can find the needed ingredients:

1 can of Chickpeas
Tahini3 tablespoons
Olive oil3 tablespoons
Lemon juice1/2 lemon
Add spices by preferences (garlic...)


The process is quite simple, just pour all the ingredients in a blender and blend it all smoothly until you get the creamy mixture shown above.
